There are other sites here than Silver Lake, for example Lake Como; why not visit Belmar Basin since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A great swamp in the vicinity of Silver Lake is Shark River Inlet, and if you came for an overnight stay Koala-T-Kids is a wonderful location to camp. Getting to Musquash Brook from Silver Lake is painless; after a long day outdoors Neptune Motor Lodge is a splendid       location to spend a night or two. A good deal of rain falls at Silver Lake; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Not far from Silver Lake, you'll locate Sylvan Lake which is a striking lake; if you need a place to stay The Chateau Inn and Suites is a wonderful choice. If time allows, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national park worth stopping at; nearby you find South Arm. There's just no way                  anyone can get bored here at Silver Lake. High temperatures at Silver Lake all through the summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's.
