Go to Silver Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Swamps are interesting locations and Bear Swamp close to Silver Lake is no exception, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Conklins Crossing. | | two. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Silver Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Pond; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail.

Stay the night at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds, and Silver Lake is not far
at all from New York-Newark-Edison. Soar down the rapids of Ramapo River in a kayak, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Bergen Hills Country Club is a golf course near Silver
Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Marriott Park Ridge is a perfect choice.
Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Silver Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some tremendous
whitewater. The Sherwood Path is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Silver Lake; not far from Silver Lake you'll come across Laurel Lake which is a striking lake.
