While you're here at Silver Lake you can take a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Sterling Forest. This lake is so wonderful. The Bowl is a charming place any time of year, and if you come at the right time of year, Ramapo River offers some wonderful whitewater. Silver Lake gets lots of water; most of the rain falls during November; February meanwhile is the driest month.       At Silver Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's while Silver Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a tremendous place to camp, and playing golf is lots of fun at Apple Ridge Country Club. You can take a little journey                  to MacMillan Reservoir Dam since you're here at Silver Lake; what would a site like Silver Lake be without out of the ordinary close by highlights like Hawk Rock. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hillburn Reservoir is near Silver Lake, and a magnificent beach nearby is Old Sebago Beach. It's a nice idea to stop by Darlington Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Silver Lake, and hiking along the Cannonball Trail is splendid fun. You're in all probability keen on lakes, Havemeyer Reservoir is one of those nearby; Havemeyer Hollow is undeniably a great place to explore. This lake is so wonderful. Camp wabenaki is a pleasant local campground; at Silver Lake you can see Bald Mountain. Hit the slopes at Mt. Peter around here; dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Mahwah. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and swamps are attention-grabbing sites and Bear Swamp close to Silver Lake is no exception. If you go for the outdoors, you'll go for Silver Lake.
