This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kakiat Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Ocawasin Lodge is a delightful place to camp. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Sheffield Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter       is close to Sheffield Pond, and on a pretty day you acquire a splendid sight of Packanack Mountain from Sheffield Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Pompton Dam to have a look at in close proximity to Sheffield Pond, and La Quinta Inn and Suites Wayne is a tremendous place to get some rest.
