Sheffield Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Sheffield Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Gateway National Recreation Area is a glorious place in the neighborhood of Sheffield Pond, and Sunset Valley Golf Course is a golf course close by. Stay the night at Motor Sports Marina and Campground, and a splendid nearby hotel is Wellesley Inn Wayne.

| | lake is so wonderful. Do check out Alexanders Pond in the vicinity of Sheffield Pond, it's a delightful lake; from Sheffield Pond you acquire a nice sight of Packanack Mountain. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Sheffield Pond. If you need a place to stay Regency House Hotel & Suites is a tremendous choice. Pompton Dam is pretty and it's near Sheffield Pond, and the Kakiat Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.

is so wonderful. On a great day at Sheffield Pond you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Peter since you're here. There's so much to do here at Sheffield Pond
that you need to camp here for a while, Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a wonderful location for that; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River. There's some flowing water close
by, Haycock Brook is a stream you can check out during your stay, and scenic scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Sterling Forest.
Be careful coming to Sheffield Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. Near
Sheffield Pond you discover the Pine Meadow Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Rockaway River. Summer at Sheffield Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the
50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Sheffield Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
