Shadow Lake Dam is worth stopping at since you're here; camping is available at Kaufman Campgrounds. You'll meet a lot of folks from New York-Newark-Edison here, and Poricy Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Middletown Township Golf Course is always a diversion. Some nearby water includes Nut Swamp Brook; don't miss       out on a spree to Gateway National Recreation Area since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Ideal Beach is in the vicinity of Shadow Lake and is a stunning beach to take a look at, and Oyster Point Hotel is a wonderful place to get some rest. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Shadow Lake is unbeatable! If you get bored of Shadow Lake, you could also pop by close by Mohawk Pond, and a delightful site to camp here at Shadow Lake is Atlantic                  Club Camp. Shadow Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest month of the year is February. Summertime highs at Shadow Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Shadow Lake through the winter usually fall into the 20's.
