The beauty of Shadow Lake attracts many people from all around. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Shadow Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Shadow Lake fall into the 10's. Hiking along the Pine Meadow Trail is pleasant fun, and the slopes of Mt. Peter are so inviting nobody can resist. This

by loves skiing at Sterling Forest; you can take a little journey to Shadow Lake Dam while you're here at Shadow Lake.
If you need a location to stay Homewood Suites Mahwah is a magnificent choice; Shadow Lake is right by the
Kakiat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Doubletree Hotel Mahwah is a good site to get some rest; Campgaw Mountain is gorgeous and can be observed from here. Lots of rain falls at Shadow Lake; throughout the month of May you get the
most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Shadow Lake is a nice location to camp, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a nice location; get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater
of Pequannock River. Playing golf is lots of fun at Apple Ridge Country Club, and the Cannonball Trail offers hiking at its best.
