A great deal of rain falls at Sawmill Pond; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Shippekonk Campground is a great campground nearby; paddling on Delaware River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Valley is a great local ski area, and not far from Sawmill Pond you obtain some good water scenery at Sawmill Pond Dam.
