What a nice lake Roveres Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. A nice panorama of charming Packanack Mountain is available from Roveres Lake, and tremendous water scenery is available at Packanack Lake Dam in the vicinity of Roveres Lake. While you're here at Roveres Lake, you could also go to lovely Adams Lake, and after a long day outdoors Wayne Inn is a glorious location to spend a night or two. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Roveres Lake drop into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at King's Inn Hotel; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. and Tennis Club is a glorious site. If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Roveres Lake. There's whitewater on Pequannock River for all you adrenaline kick people, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest.
This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Packanack Golf Club; get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Rockaway River. Have a good hiking adventure
along the Cannonball Trail; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mt. Peter since you're here. A great location in the neighborhood of Roveres Lake is Preakness Valley, and you can stay the night at Motor Sports
Marina and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Deepavaal Brook is a stream that you may come across while you're here, and if you haven’t been to Gateway National Recreation Area, you ought to schedule some time for it since you're
here. Roveres Lake mostly gets lots of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
