And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. Hit the slopes at Sterling Forest close by; there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Pequannock River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is always a perfect experience, and Best Western The Inn At Ramsey is a nice place to       get some rest. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Rambaut Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Rambaut Lake dip into the 10's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River, needless to say you could also pop by Ziegler Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. The Kakiat Trail                  offers hiking at its best; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Apple Ridge Country Club is close by. A large amount of rainfall falls at Rambaut Lake; during May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Meadow Trail; there's always Rambaut Dam to stop by close to Rambaut Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
