This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Mahwah, and the top of Bald Mountain is easily distinguished from Potake Pond. At Potake Pond through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Potake Pond temperatures fall       to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The Pine Meadow Trail is a fine hiking trail near Potake Pond; a great spot for whitewater paddling is Pequannock River. Nearby lakes? Sure, Potake Pond is in close proximity to Potake Pond, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Apple Ridge Country Club is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Potake Pond, you can go for a hike along the Kakiat Trail; you can hit the beach                  if you want, Old Sebago Beach is practically right here. Bear Swamp is an exciting swamp next to Potake Pond. There's so much to do here at Potake Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a glorious site for that. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Peter is next to Potake Pond, and you should pop by North Cape when you're here. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Potake Pond. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Ramapo River; of course, this is a great area for people who like lakes, Cranberry Pond is a lake close by. Don’t forget to go to The Bowl since you're here at Potake Pond, and getting to Summit Brook from Potake Pond is trouble-free. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. While you're here at Potake Pond you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail; at Potake Pond you always meet someone from New York-Newark-Edison. The snow is perfect at Sterling Forest, and Sheraton Crossroads Hotel is a splendid place to get some rest. If you came to camp Camp wabenaki is a nice location to do that, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at New Sebago Beach.
