Atlantic Club Camp is a fine campground nearby; if time allows, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national park worth a visit. There's some flowing water close by, Nut Swamp Brook is a stream you can have a look at during your stay, and if you've had enough of Poricy Pond, Marion Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Molly Pitcher Inn is a splendid place to       get some rest, and taking a little spree to close by Blossom Cove is a pleasant idea. Throughout the months of summer at Poricy Pond highs are mostly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Poricy Pond. Stay the night at Kaufman Campgrounds, and Poricy Pond is not the only place close by, Shadow Lake is a close by lake.                  This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Poricy Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by New York-Newark-Edison, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Ideal Beach.
