There's so much to do here at Pleasant Valley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fla Net Park Campgrounds is a nice site for that, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to distinguish at Cromwell Lake Dam near Pleasant Valley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Bernards Inn is a splendid site to get some rest; you'll come across a striking lake called Ravine Lake. So much exciting       stuff to do at Pleasant Valley Lake, so little time. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pleasant Valley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hi-Hills Camp, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Raritan River - North Branch. Burnett Brook flows through this region; Mine Mountain is clearly visible from Pleasant Valley Lake. Very charming scenery and good skiing is what you get at Mountain Creek, and playing golf is lots of fun at Roxiticus                  Golf Club. Pleasant Valley Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. There's whitewater on India Brook for all you adrenaline junkies; a lovely lake like Cromwell Lake is a pleasant site to check out. At Pleasant Valley Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Pleasant Valley Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
