After a long day outdoors Olde Mill Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Mine Mountain is clearly visible from Pleasant Valley Lake. Camping is available at Ymca, and Burnett Brook is right next door to Pleasant Valley Lake and is always a bliss to visit. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Cromwell Lake Dam next to Pleasant Valley Lake is scenic, and you're       possibly interested in lakes, Cromwell Lake is one of those nearby. Pleasant Valley Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Raritan River - North Branch; you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Mountain Creek. There's whitewater on India Brook for all you thrill seekers,                  and The Bernards Inn is a nice place to get some rest. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A magnificent site to camp here at Pleasant Valley Lake is Fla Net Park Campgrounds, and a golf course close by is Roxiticus Golf Club. For the period of the summer months at Pleasant Valley Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
