Pinecrest Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; July is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lakes are wonderful; Green Valley Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Pinecrest Lake; dry warm beds await you at Mountain Creek- Black Creek Sanctuary. Good hiking is available along the Kakiat Trail, and Clinton Brook Valley is another tremendous spot to stop at close by.
