If you are in Warren county it's always a good idea to stop by Paulina Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Pequest River offers some perfect whitewater, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Blair Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Paulina Lake has to offer, you can camp at Appalacian Mountain Club, and if you've had enough of Paulina Lake, Lake Wasigan is

| | close by. There are some nice whitewater spots on Hornbeck's Creek, and if you need a site to stay Inn at Panther Valley is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Near Paulina Lake you locate the Bald Barren Trail which is a great hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Paulina Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Triple Brook Camping Resort is a good site for that. again. Going for a hike on the Flat Ridge Trail is always a great adventure, and Shawnee Mountain is a fine local ski area. During the months of summer at Paulina Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down
to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Paulina Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Go for a hike on the Maple Brook Trail, and it's a good idea to go to Blair Creek. Delaware
National Scenic River is a great national park. Dry warm beds await you at Fernwood Hotel and Resort, and Paulina Lake Dam is a wonderful site. Paulina Lake gets a lot of water; May is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month.
