The high level of precipitation makes Patex Pond a pretty wet site; most of the rain falls through August; February on the other hand is the driest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Patex Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sun Air Lakeside Camp; Gateway National Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are great to have a look at close by. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available       along the Cannonball Trail; get covered with water paddling on Rockaway River. Having a good time at Patex Pond is uncomplicated. Boonton Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit; soar down the rapids of Pequannock River in a kayak. Summertime at Patex Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Patex Pond                  are in the 10's. Patex Pond is a perfect place to camp, Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a perfect place, and Ramada Limited is a great place to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Red Roof Inn Parsippany (Nyc); the scenery at Patex Pond Dam is pretty. Everybody close by loves skiing at Hidden Valley, and a glorious panorama of lovely Pyramid Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful.
