Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River, and if you get bored of Parsons Pond you could also pop by nearby Cooks Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Pequannock River offers some pleasant whitewater; Mt. Peter has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Parsons Pond you can take a hike along the Cannonball Trail, and if you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Inn - Ramsey is a pleasant choice.

Kakiat Trail. Spring Lake Brook is a great local stream, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western The Inn At Ramsey. What a place this is for outdoors people. Parsons Pond is a location with many visitors from New York-Newark-Edison.
If you came for an overnight stay Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a great place to camp, and Shadow Lake Dam has glorious water scenery. Summertime highs at Parsons Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours
it's frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Parsons Pond fall into the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Parsons Pond a wet location; most of the rain falls all through May, and the driest of the months is February.
