Carnegie Lake is a lake around here, and Nassau Inn is a good location to get some rest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Mountain Lake is next to Palmer Lake, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn Princeton West Windsor is a great spot to spend a night or two. Palmer Lake is a rather wet place regularly with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls throughout July; the driest month is February. Get dripping       wet paddling on Delaware River, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Dynomite is a delightful spot to camp. Summertime at Palmer Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Palmer Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are fine spots to have a look at, and New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve is no exception,                  and Laurel Pond Resort is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to Palmer Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Float down the rapids of Raritan River - South Branch in a kayak, and you can distinguish Rocky Hill from Palmer Lake.
