Camping is available at Brookville Campgrounds, and there's some flowing water nearby, Big Flat Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. Toms River Red Roof Inn is a good site to get some rest, and Shell Pond is a splendid lake close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A day at       Little Beach close to Oyster Pond is time well spent, and since you're here you can play some golf at Ocean Acres Country Club. Big Cove is relatively near Oyster Pond; there are other places here than Oyster Pond, for example Knoll Pond. Oyster Pond gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls during July; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Cedar Creek Campground is always a perfect experience, and if you like                  swamps you're in luck, Turtle Creek is right nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Oyster Pond typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
