    Orange Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rockaway River, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Turtle Brook Inn. Why not camp at Camp Horizons since you're here at Orange Reservoir, and not far from Orange Reservoir you'll hit upon Diamond Mill Pond which is a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't  
   leave Orange Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail, and Maple Falls is an inspiring location to go to while you're here.
If you're into cool geologic characteristics, try Hawk Hill; if the weather is wonderful, you get a delightful panorama of Mayapple Hill from Orange Reservoir. There's whitewater on Pequannock River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and don't miss out on a spree to Gateway National Recreation Area since
 
               you're here. At Orange Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Orange Reservoir night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.
Orange Reservoir typically gets lots of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. All the outdoors amusing things in close proximity to Orange Reservoir will keep you coming back over and over. The scenery at Orange Reservoir Dam right next door to Orange Reservoir is lovely; if you came for an overnight stay Bryn Mawr Camp is a pleasant spot to camp. Having a wonderful time at Orange Reservoir is painless. Lakes? Sure, Cable Lake is in the vicinity.
If you're here at Orange Reservoir, you could stop by Beech Brook; what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. Playing golf is lots of fun at Essex County Francis A Byrne Golf Course; if you need a place to stay Courtyard by Marriott West Orange is a brilliant choice.
