Camping at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is always a magnificent experience; after a long day outdoors Crowne Plaza Hotel AT PARAMUS PARK is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Through the days of summer at Oradell Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. are in the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Oradell Reservoir a wet place; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. In case you don’t have a problem getting
dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Sterling Forest are so inviting nobody
can resist; a magnificent place to camp here at Oradell Reservoir is Liberty Harbor RV Park. A quick trip to Hirshfeld Brook close to Oradell Reservoir is a great idea, and going for a hike on the Sherwood Path is always a great adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Oradell Reservoir Dam, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Popolopen Creek. Gateway National Recreation Area is a good national park, and an afternoon playing golf at Haworth Country Club is always a joy.
