This lake is so wonderful. Bowling Green Golf Club is a splendid golf course nearby, and Hidden Valley has fine slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Why not check out Oak Ridge Reservoir Dam while you're here, and if you need a place to stay Four Seasons Motel & Cottages is a tremendous choice. Camping at Oak Ridge Reservoir is good fun, Tall Timbers       Campground is a good local campground, and you'll locate a delightful lake called Cozy Lake. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Oak Ridge Reservoir. Really great skiing awaits you at Mountain Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a glorious spot to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Oak Ridge Reservoir a wet place; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest.                  Rockaway River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and Best Western The Inn At Rockaway is a magnificent spot to get some rest. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River, and needless to say Dunker Brook flows through this vicinity. During the days of summer highs here at Oak Ridge Reservoir reach the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's.
