Whitewater paddling is fine on Pequannock River, and why not explore                  Oak Ridge Reservoir Dam while you're here. Paddling on Rockaway River is so much fun, and you'll find a pretty lake called White Rock Lake. A golf course next to Oak Ridge Reservoir is Bowling Green Golf Club; Oak Ridge Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Nyoda is a good local campground. If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Rockaway-I 80 (Parsippany Area) is a perfect choice, and do stop by Green Pond, it's a picturesque lake.
