Camping at North Pond is delightful fun, Kaufman Campgrounds is a delightful local campground, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Sterling Forest. All the outdoors exciting things in the vicinity of North Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Playing golf is lots of fun at Township of Millburn Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Hilton Short Hills is a glorious choice. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity       of North Pond called the Cannonball Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rockaway River. If you're here at North Pond, you could explore Bear Brook, and why not have a look at Campbells Pond Dam since you're here. If you came for an overnight stay Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a nice site to camp, naturally you could also stop by Butler Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. The high level of rainfall makes North Pond a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at North Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's.
