North Pond gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Gateway National Recreation Area is a very brilliant spot to have a look at near North Pond; while you're here you can play some golf at Township of Millburn Golf Course. Throughout the       summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at North Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at North Pond are in the 10's. A lake close by is South Pond, and Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area close by. There is a glorious hiking trail near North Pond called the Cannonball Trail; the scenery at Campbells Pond Dam is beautiful. This lake                  is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hilton Short Hills is a fine location to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Bryn Mawr Camp while you're here at North Pond. Best Western Turtle Brook Inn is a nice spot to get some rest, and swing by Bear Brook it's a good location to have a look at. All the outdoors exciting things near North Pond will keep you coming back many times.
