The beauty of Mud Pond is reason enough to stop by. There's some flowing water nearby, Franklin Pond Creek is a stream you can check out while here; Pimple Hills is clearly visible from Mud Pond. Mud Pond is in a good location in the shadow of the Pimple Hills, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clove Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Hidden Valley is one of those things you just should do, and dry warm beds await you at Mountain Creek Resort. Lake is one of those nearby; Mud Pond is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Toye's Recreation is a pleasant spot to camp nearby.
If you need a place to stay Vernon/Mcafee Days Inn is a tremendous choice, and obviously,
this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Lake Acquackanonk is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Paulins Kill River offers some wonderful whitewater, and Ballyowen
Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Mud Pond. Delaware National Scenic River is a wonderful national park.
Much precipitation falls at Mud Pond; most of the rain
falls through August, and February is when it's the driest. Very gorgeous scenery and tremendous skiing is what you get at Mountain Creek, and why not stop by Lake Sonoma Dam if you're here.
