If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Mountain Springs Lake. Gateway National Recreation Area is one of the destinations near Mountain Springs Lake that are glorious to go to. Wonder Lake Dam is pretty and it's next to Mountain Springs Lake, and the Cannonball Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. Really fine       skiing awaits you at Mountain Creek; there are other places here than Mountain Springs Lake, for example Wonder Lake. Camping at Camp Ocawasin Lodge is always a magnificent experience, and dry warm beds await you at Embassy Suites Parsippany. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Apshawa Brook, and playing golf is lots of fun at Sunset Valley Golf Course. All through the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 80's at Mountain                  Springs Lake, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 50's.
