This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, India Brook offers some magnificent whitewater, and you can take a little spree to Lake Hopatcong Dam while you're here at Mountain Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Delaware National Scenic River is a good place right next door to Mountain Pond, and why not head up to Hidden Valley and strap some skis to your feet. There's just no way anybody can       get bored here at Mountain Pond. While you're here at Mountain Pond you should stop at Ingram Cove; a pretty lake like Mountain Lake is a perfect site to stop at. Do explore Lake Louise near Mountain Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mountain Creek. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Paulins Kill River, and Lake Lackawanna Golf Course is a good golf course                  nearby. High temperatures at Mountain Pond all through the warm months are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's while Mountain Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Why not camp at Fla Net Park Campgrounds if you're here at Mountain Pond; if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Ledgewood is a brilliant choice.
