New Jersey has many beautiful lakes and Mountain Lake is one of them. The high level of rainfall makes Mountain Lake a quite wet place; through May this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. Delaware National Scenic River is a very splendid site to check out near Mountain Lake. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Pequest River, and a splendid location to stop at nearby is Pequest Valley.

| | far at all from Mountain Lake; not far from Mountain Lake you'll discover Locust Lake which is a charming lake. For the period of the warm months at Mountain Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Mountain Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Lake, and High Rock Mountain can be made out from Mountain Lake.
Stay the night at Driftstone On The Delaware, and the snow is splendid at Shawnee Mountain. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing things,
what a great globe it would be. Jenny Jump Brook flows through this neighborhood, and a wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Inn Hackettstown. Triple Brook Camping Resort is a tremendous campground nearby, and if you need a place to
stay Columbia-Days Inn is a pleasant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Fairway Valley Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Raritan River - South Branch.
