While you're here at Mountain Lake you can play some golf at Fairway Valley Golf Club; lakes are such serene places, why not visit Hope Lake. Looking for a brilliant journey? Delaware National Scenic River is pretty in the vicinity of Mountain Lake, and a good site to camp here at Mountain Lake is Driftstone On The Delaware. This lake is so wonderful.

| | High Rock Mountain can be observed from Mountain Lake, and Mountain Lake is close to Pequest Valley which is positively worth going to. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. is a splendid lake next to Mountain Lake, and Mountain Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Triple Brook Camping Resort is a great local campground. Any time is a great time at Mountain Lake if you like the outdoors.
Glide down the rapids of Raritan River - South Branch in a kayak, and Columbia-Days Inn is a great site to get some rest. During the warm days of summer highs here at Mountain Lake reach the 80's. All through the dark hours of
summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows at Mountain Lake during the winter typically drop into the 10's.

Camp Bernie is able to provide a traditional co-ed Overnight Camp Experience during the summer. Our sessions last for 13 days, and serve children from grades 2 through 10. She lives just up the road from the Cranberry Lake Community Club club house. Many times in the past I have walked across the bridge into French's Grove without ever seeing a Welcome Sign; although I think it is a very good addition to welcome visitors....
