Mountain Lake is a lake worth visiting. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Mountain Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mountain Lake are in the 10's. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Hidden Valley, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Parsippany is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful.

Mountain Lake gets lots of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Mountain
Lake is not the only place nearby, Arrowhead Lake is a nearby lake; paddling on Pequannock River is so much fun. There's always Mountain Lake Dam to take a look at in close proximity to Mountain Lake, and Rockaway River has a perfect
whitewater paddling spot close by.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Rockaway River Country Club is a great golf course nearby, and Rockaway Valley is a glorious location to explore.
