It's always fun to stop by Mountain Lake. If you came to camp Timberland Lake Campground is a perfect site to do that; if you need a place to stay Chauncey Conference Center is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Mountain Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ymca is a pleasant place for that, and a golf course close by is Mattawang Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a tour to New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve since you're here at Mountain Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mountain Lake a wet place; during July this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Delaware River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Palmer Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to.

Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Mountain Lake drop into the 10's.
