If you need a place to stay Best Western Regency House Hotel is a wonderful choice, and everybody close by loves skiing at Mt. Peter. This lake is so wonderful. Federal Hill is striking and can be observed from Morse Lakes, and Lower Morse Lake is a great lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't miss out on a visit to Gateway National Recreation Area since you're here at Morse Lakes, and a magnificent site to camp here at Morse Lakes is Motor Sports Marina

| | and Campground. Throughout the summer at Morse Lakes highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Morse Lakes. All the water falling down from the sky makes Morse Lakes a wet location; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Lakes; a beautiful lake like Twilliger Lake is a magnificent spot to stop at. Whitewater paddling is nice on Rockaway River; don't leave Morse Lakes without first going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail. La Quinta Inn and
Suites Wayne is a splendid location to get some rest, and the skiing at Sterling Forest is good. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. Looking for some flowing water? Try Beaver
Brook, and delightful hiking is available along the Kakiat Trail. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River; enjoy a round of golf at Sunset Valley Golf Course.
And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Morse Lakes. There's wonderful hiking along the Pine Meadow Trail, and camping at Camp Ocawasin Lodge is always a great experience.
