If you are in Passaic county it's always a good idea to stop by Morse Lakes. Take a side visit to Beaver Brook, and the scenery at Morse Lakes Dam is wonderful. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Morse Lakes get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Morse Lakes. Good hiking is available along the Cannonball Trail; Morse Lakes is wonderful enough

| | to spend more than a day at, Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a wonderful local campground. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Morse Lakes. I'm havin' a good time here at Morse Lakes. Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area nearby; after a long day outdoors Stumble Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Pequannock River has a
tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Butler Guest House. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mt. Peter; Federal Hill is clearly visible from Morse Lakes. While you're
here at Morse Lakes you can play some golf at Sunset Valley Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Morse Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Motor Sports Marina and Campground is a good place for that. This lake
is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Rockaway River, and the Pine Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best. The high level of precipitation makes Morse Lakes a relatively wet place; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest.
