The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sterling Forest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Moores Pond has to offer, you can camp at Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds. A good nearby hotel is Hilton Woodcliff Lake, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Popolopen Creek. | | the year is February. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Moores Pond. Lakes are splendid; Mill Pond is a lake that's near Moores Pond, and if you're here and you like golf, you can explore Apple Ridge Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Anona Lake, and why not head up to Mt. Peter and strap some skis to your feet. Whitewater paddling | |

is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ramapo River, and Moores Pond is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a splendid place to camp nearby. Getting to Pine Brook from Moores
Pond is simple, and close by you come across the Sherwood Path which is a nice hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Conklins Crossing is always a good adventure, and if you're visiting from New York-Newark-Edison, you won't be
the only one. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Residence Inn Saddle River is a wonderful choice; there are tremendous places to discover along the Kakiat Trail.
For the period of the days of summer here at Moores Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Moores Pond temperatures sink to the 10's.
