Peter and strap some skis to your feet, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. There's so much to do here at Mirror Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a splendid place for that, and Franklin Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp close to Mirror Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you       can always stop by nearby Crystal Lake, and after a long day outdoors Residence Inn by Marriott Wayne is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Gateway National Recreation Area is recommended, and Sunset Valley Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pequannock River; hiking is a popular thing to do around Mirror Lake; Kakiat Trail is a tremendous local trail. Now, you may assume                  that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Mirror Lake. There's glorious hiking along the Cannonball Trail. Lakes are tremendous; Caille Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mirror Lake. Summertime at Mirror Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Mirror Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Stay the night at Rein Teen Tours, and you acquire a pleasant vista of Millstone Hill from here. This lake is so wonderful. Sterling Forest is a very popular ski area around here, and if you need a site to stay Wellesley Inn Wayne is a fine choice. Float down the rapids of Ramapo River in a kayak. The high level of rainfall makes Mirror Lake a quite wet site; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest.
