This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.       You're almost certainly into lakes, George Lake is one of those nearby; Delaware River Family Campgrd is a brilliant local campground. Mine Hill Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Mine Hill Reservoir Dam which is a picturesque site undeniably worth visiting, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Hackettstown Storage Reservoir is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Inn at Panther Valley is a nice site to                  get some rest, and at Mine Hill Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Schooleys Mountain. Through the days of summer here at Mine Hill Reservoir, high temperatures usually reach the 80's; the nighttime is a little colder of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mine Hill Reservoir. Mine Hill Reservoir gets a good deal of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Paddling on Rockaway Creek is so much fun, and don't forget to take a good little tour to Mine Brook.
