Here at Memorial Lake there are plenty of people from Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington; if you came to camp Four Seasons Camp Grounds is a magnificent place to do that. | | winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Memorial Lake.
A perfect close by hotel is Hampton Inn, and Memorial Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Yogi Bear At Tall Pines Resort is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Select Bridgeport-I-295, Nj is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and for you golfers we recommend close by Beckett Golf Club. | |

Memorial Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
There's some attention-grabbing stuff to observe at Veterans
Memorial Lake Dam in close proximity to Memorial Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Brandywine Creek. Chestnut Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and there are other locations here than Memorial Lake, for example East Lake.
