Put some time aside to spend at Tillman Falls if you're here at Mecca Lake; you'll discover a delightful lake called Crandon Lakes. Man, is there lots of fun stuff to do near Mecca Lake. There's so much to do here at Mecca Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Harmony       Ridge Campgrounds is a brilliant place for that, and going for a hike along the Flat Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. For the duration of the long summer days here at Mecca Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mecca Lake. Stay the night at Windy Acres Campground,                  and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Newton is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. Hornbeck's Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Bald Barren Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Shawnee Mountain has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and at Quick Pond Dam near Mecca Lake there are some interesting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Raymondskill Creek, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Lost Cabin Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Stokes State Forest is a tremendous forest neighborhood in the vicinity of Mecca Lake, and if time allows, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth checking out.
