Macopin Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. A day on the slopes of Mountain Creek is just what you need; paddling on Rockaway River is so much fun. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff to do next to Macopin Reservoir. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Macopin Reservoir Dam; after a long day outdoors Embassy Suites Hotel Parsippany is a nice location to spend a night or two. You get a good vista of Kanouse Mountain from Macopin Reservoir, and getting to Apshawa Brook from Macopin Reservoir is easy. This lake is so wonderful. high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Macopin Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the winter
are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Butler Reservoir is a lake that's close to Macopin Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Sun Air Lakeside Camp is a fine spot to camp. Gateway National Recreation
Area is a very great site to visit in the vicinity of Macopin Reservoir; there are good sites to look at along the Cannonball Trail. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great world it would be. The
snow is glorious at Hidden Valley; if you need a location to stay Parsippany - Days Inn is a great choice. Camping at Macopin Reservoir is good fun, Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a good local campground; don't leave Macopin Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Kakiat Trail.
