     Lummis Lakes is a place with many visitors from Vineland-Millville-Bridgeton, and Shaws Mill Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites; why not camp at Circle D Ranch and Park if you're here at Lummis Lakes. Bridgeton-Days Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest, also Lummis Lake Lower Dam is worth going to if you're here. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.  
   Do pay a visit to New Jersey Coastal Heritage Trail Route if you're here at Lummis Lakes, and if you came for an overnight stay Bostwick Lake is a splendid location to camp.
Through the warm days of summer highs here at Lummis Lakes reach the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lummis Lakes. Why not spend some time golfing
 
               at a nearby golf course like Cohanzick Country Club, and since you're here, you could also visit pretty Cedar Lake.
The high level of rain makes Lummis Lakes a rather wet location; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.

There were times though that we had to pack up nd leave when my parents opened the picnic basket, due to the miserable Yellow Jackets swarmed around us when we started to eat. What a big disappointment THAT was.! So sorry I have NO pictures! How we seven kids enjoyed those outings.I have NEVER forgotten those trips....

We love this campground. They have constant activities from dawn till dusk. Everyone really gets into the daily activities! The owner is always available and courteous. Did I mention the sites are HUGE? they also have companion sites which are great when camping with a freind!

The memories at this lake as a child, are all good ones. A time to spends hours and hours with your family with little money and to much fun for all.  I remember swimming for hours (in the ice tea water--HA), boats you would ride until your feet and legs couldn't do it anymore) and the store with the screen (sqeeky) door. Life was great. There are so many good memories at this lake. It is all good...
