If the weather is glorious here at Lotz Pond, you can go for a hike along the Kakiat Trail; Lotz Pond is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Rein Teen Tours is a perfect place to camp nearby. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River. Now,       you may feel that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Lotz Pond. Don't leave Lotz Pond without first paying a visit to Passaic Falls, and playing golf is lots of fun at Packanack Golf Club. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A delightful location for whitewater paddling right next door to Lotz Pond is Ramapo River; you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Sterling Forest. Here at Lotz Pond you can make out                  Mount Cecchino, and at Haledon Reservoir Dam right next door to Lotz Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn TOTOWA WAYNE, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Pine Meadow Trail. Summer at Lotz Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lotz Pond plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lotz Pond has to offer, you can camp at Baker Camp On Lake Sebago, and going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter, and after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Paterson is a great site to spend a night or two. The high level of precipitation makes Lotz Pond a rather wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month of the year is February.
