Peter is one of those things you just must do. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Lookover Lake. Do stop at Terrace Pond in close proximity to Lookover Lake, it's a delightful lake, and an interesting thing to explore in close proximity to Lookover Lake is Lookover Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along       the Pine Meadow Trail, and of course, A tour to Clinton Brook Valley is always fun. You can run the rapids of Rockaway River near Lookover Lake, and why not camp at Camp Ocawasin Lodge while you're here at Lookover Lake. Very pretty scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Hidden Valley, and you'll discover a beautiful lake called Leeper Pond. From Lookover Lake you get a great sight of Bearfort Mountain; Rough Mountain State Forest is a brilliant local                  forest. A great deal of rainfall falls at Lookover Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cannonball Trail, and why not have a look at nearby Sawmill Pond Brook while you're here at Lookover Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Kakiat Trail, and Mountain Creek- Black Creek Sanctuary is a great location to get some rest. A tour to Gateway National Recreation Area is worthwhile; camping is available at Motor Sports Marina and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lookover Lake. A round of golf at nearby Spa Executive Nine Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time, and dry warm beds await you at Mountain Creek- Appalachian. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lookover Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's.
