Do pay a visit to Delaware National Scenic River while you're here at Lake Lookout, and Spa Executive Nine Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. Lake Lookout commonly gets lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. At Lake Lookout during the warm months highs are       in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Lookout temperatures sink to the 10's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Lookout; Cannonball Trail is a magnificent local trail; a good location to camp here at Lake Lookout is Camp Ocawasin Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mountain Creek- Black Creek                  Sanctuary; if you come at the right time of year, Pequannock River offers some great whitewater. Be careful coming to Lake Lookout, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rockaway River, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at East Highland Lake. Gotta ski! Mountain Creek is a perfect spot to do that, also East Highland Lake Dam is worth visiting since you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
