Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 80's at Locust Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Barren Trail. Going for a hike along the Flat Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Lake Just-It is a pleasant lake nearby. A brilliant place to camp here at Locust Lake is Triple Brook Camping Resort.

Locust Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; all through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month.
