So many exciting things next to Little Sound, simply unbelievable. Brothers Creek is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at, and Little Sound is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Shellbay Campgrounds is a nice place to camp nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Little Sound a relatively wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long       day outdoors Sandy Shores Resort Motel is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and Five Mile Beach is reasonably close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Swamps like Anglesea Marsh near Little Sound make for good sites to visit. Through the months of summer highs here at Little Sound reach the 80's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the                  20's overnight here at Little Sound. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Ponderlodge Golf Club; you can hit the beach if you want, Mile Beach is practically right here. Stay the night at North Wildwood Campground; if you're going to from Ocean City, you won't be the only one. A tremendous spot like Great Flat here at Little Sound is too tremendous to miss; a good view of delightful Little Snake Hill is available. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Blue Palms is a great choice, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Ludlum Pond is just a very short distance away.
