Lionhead Lake is a lake worth visiting. Lionhead Lake is a pretty wet place mostly with a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Wellesley Inn Wayne; hiking along the Kakiat Trail is magnificent fun. Regency House Hotel & Suites is a nice place to get some rest; why not head up to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet.

| | You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lionhead Lake has to offer, you can camp at Motor Sports Marina and Campground; Lionhead Lake is right by the Cannonball Trail. Yeah, come here to Lionhead Lake for a great time. A quick journey to Haycock Brook near Lionhead Lake is a brilliant idea. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Gateway National Recreation Area is a national park worth checking out. There's so much to do here at Lionhead Lake | |

that you need to camp here for a while, Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a glorious place for that. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Rockaway River, and the view of Packanack Mountain is beautiful. So much fun stuff
to do here at Lionhead Lake, too tremendous to be true. A round of golf at nearby Packanack Golf Club is a magnificent way to kill some time; there's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Point View Dam near Lionhead Lake. Have
a good hiking adventure along the Pine Meadow Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pequannock River. Throughout the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Lionhead Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are
in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lionhead Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. The snow is tremendous at Mt. Peter, and Alexanders Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
