Laurel Pond frequently gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls during May while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile, and why not camp at Camp Ocawasin Lodge while you're here at Laurel Pond. Wawayanda Lake Dam is not far at all from Laurel Pond, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Pequannock River. Head up to Mountain Creek and strap some skis to your feet, and a glorious close by hotel is Mineral Resorts And Spa. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do near Laurel Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure, Wawayanda Lake is near Laurel Pond, and for you golfers we recommend close by Spa Executive Nine Golf Course. All through the summer months here at Laurel Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of                  course, typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows during the wintertime for Laurel Pond tend to be in the 10's.
