Laurel Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Bergen Hills Country Club is a golf course close to Laurel Lake, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Ramapo River. A great place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Laurel Lake is Popolopen Creek; why not head up to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be.

| | to camp Camp wabenaki is a glorious spot to do that, and the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. All the water falling down from the sky makes Laurel Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. Here at Laurel Lake there are plenty of people from New York-Newark-Edison, and Marriott Park Ridge is a brilliant location to get some rest.

Area is a perfect national park; do take a hike on the Conklins Crossing. This is a glorious vicinity for people who like lakes. Connoley Lake is a lake around here, and if you need a place to stay Courtyard Montvale is a magnificent
choice. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do near Laurel Lake. Swamps like Bear Swamp in the neighborhood of Laurel Lake make for magnificent sites to take a look at, and Laurel Lake is right by the Sherwood Path.
All
through the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Laurel Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Laurel Lake dipping down into the 10's during
winter nights. There's so much to do here at Laurel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a perfect spot for that; Bear Brook is close to Laurel Lake and is always a bliss to stop at.
