There's whitewater on Ramapo River for all you adrenaline junkies, and why not stop by a swamp like Bear Swamp since you're here at Laurel Lake. Looking for a tremendous spree? Gateway National Recreation Area is quite close to Laurel Lake, and Laurel Lake is a place with many visitors from New York-Newark-Edison. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at National Camp Assn if you're here at Laurel Lake, and if you've had enough of Laurel Lake, Silver Lake is

| | close by. Summertime highs at Laurel Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Laurel Lake. Good hiking is available along the Sherwood Path, and if you need a site to stay Park Ridge Marriott is a fine choice. And that's not all you can do here at Laurel Lake. Laurel Lake; Conklins Crossing is a great local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Montvale. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Laurel Lake is Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds, and why not head up
to Sterling Forest and strap some skis to your feet. All the water falling down from the sky makes Laurel Lake a wet spot; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. That right
there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Laurel Lake has it all. You can run the rapids of Popolopen Creek near Laurel Lake. You're in all probability keen on lakes, Connoley Lake is one of those close by; if you want to play
some golf, you're in luck because Bergen Hills Country Club is in close proximity. Go for a hike on the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail; swing by Bear Brook it's a great place to check out.
