This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Hornbeck's Creek, and why not camp at Triple Brook Camping Resort if you're here at Lake Wasigan. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Appalacian Mountain Club, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you       can always visit nearby Paulina Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Wasigan while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Wasigan. If you need a place to stay Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a splendid choice. There is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Lake Wasigan called the Bald Barren Trail; needless to say, all our national parks are good spots to stop at and Delaware National Scenic River is no exception. Lake Wasigan commonly gets lots of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
