You simply have to go for Lake Washington. The Pine Meadow Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lake Washington, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Cannonball Trail. Lake Washington sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls       during August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are truly abundant here at Lake Washington. A tour to Gateway National Recreation Area is worthwhile, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites Wayne is a good spot to spend a night or two. Lakes are fine; Twilliger Lake is a lake that's near Lake Washington, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always                  go whitewater paddling on Pequannock River. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter; camping at Motor Sports Marina and Campground is always a perfect experience. Wolf Den Dam is a delightful spot right next door to Lake Washington; if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a great vista of Federal Hill from Lake Washington. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Sterling Forest; Acid Brook is near Lake Washington and is always a diversion to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Rockaway River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; an afternoon playing golf at Sunset Valley Golf Course is always a pleasure. At Lake Washington during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Washington are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
