A lovely lake like Todd Lake near Lake Tamarack is a wonderful site to pop by, and get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Pequannock River. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Tamarack. Going for a hike on the Pine Meadow Trail is always a       tremendous adventure, and La Quinta Inn and Suites Wayne is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. You get a nice sight of Millstone Hill from Lake Tamarack, and do explore Lake Vreeland, it's a pretty lake. For the period of the summer months at Lake Tamarack temperatures are generally in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while Lake                  Tamarack overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Tamarack a wet site; May is the wettest month with most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a magnificent little journey to Fox Brook, and the vistas at Gateway National Recreation Area will blow your mind. The Cannonball Trail is a good hiking trail close to Lake Tamarack, and golf can be played at Sunset Valley Golf Course. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mt. Peter. There's so much to do here at Lake Tamarack that you need to camp here for a while, Baker Camp On Lake Sebago is a nice spot for that. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ramapo River, and if you need a spot to stay Residence Inn Wayne is a splendid choice. Be careful coming to Lake Tamarack, you might not ever want to go back home again.
