The front part of the lake near the ocean is a nice place you have bass large carp catfish and it get stoked with trout.the back part has catfish pike bass large mouth and small and even eels if you want to catch them.

After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn West Long Branch is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Atlantic Club Camp is a great spot to camp. I live on this lake, I'm 14 and every summer I have the most wonderful time on floating docks with my friends and waking up and kayaking with my little sister....I remember swiming here when I was young. A big different from the creek under the parkway bridge....I remember back in the 50's I would go past the lake and see kid's swing from a tree on a rope, and then let go and dive in the water.
