The beauty of Lake Susquehanna attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous here at Lake Susquehanna, you can go for a hike along the Smith Trail; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Rocco Bunino Dam. folks who like lakes. Agros Lake is a lake nearby, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Alpine Mountain. Bush Kill Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and going for a hike along the Bald Barren Trail will let you absorb
the natural beauty of this area. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do close to Lake Susquehanna. If you need a location to stay Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a great choice, and if you don’t have a problem getting
covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pequest River. Lake Susquehanna sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. Visiting Delaware
National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and the skiing at Shawnee Mountain is splendid.

Camp Bernie-YMCA

Camp Bernie is able to provide a traditional co-ed Overnight Camp Experience during the summer. Our sessions last for 13 days, and serve children from grades 2 through 10. In addition, we provide 9 weeks of Adventure Day Camp for the local communities, each session lasting from Monday through Friday.
We also offer year round programming consisting of Outdoor Education for school groups, and Group and Family Camping as well. We are avilable for scout troops, college clubs, church retreats and much more. Our camp is able to provide cabin and meeting space for groups of many sizes and interests; and there are always more rustic accomodations available for those that are interested.
