This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Surprise that you need       to camp here for a while, Kaufman Campgrounds is a pleasant place for that. At Lake Surprise through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Surprise are in the 10's. Lake Surprise is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and                  the driest month is February. Soar down the rapids of India Brook in a kayak; why not stop by close by Blue Brook while you're here at Lake Surprise.
