All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Surprise a wet spot; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. There's so much to do here at Lake Surprise                  that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Horizons is a magnificent place for that, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Rockaway River. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Lake Surprise? Echo Lake is in close proximity, and why not go to Surprise Lake Dam if you're here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Surprise has to offer, you can camp at Bryn Mawr Camp, and Township of Millburn Golf Course is a golf course nearby.
